We nearly secured filming on the Ark Royal but were thwarted by the system at the last minute. The alternative carrier was in fact an RFA assault Ship with a large flight deck and interior space. We also sourced the main Hero ship and over 22 support craft including camera boats, transfer boats, holding boats, smoke boats, safety boats and vsf marker boats.
